BMT Hi-Q Sigma

The Challenge

The client had two office spaces split over two floors (Ground & Second) in a building with a shared staircase which required a common access control platform and intruder alarm system.

The Solution

APM Fire & Security installed a PC based Access Control system connecting the various door controllers on to the clients network which enabled the client to control the access of visitors whilst restricting the level of access to key areas for the staff. The intruder alarm was installed using a shared infrastructure across the two floors but was programmed and commissioned to be set and unset as two independent systems.
This is my first experience of working with APM Fire & Security however I found them extremely helpful during and after the installation and the high level of communication enabled us to work together in overcoming any obstacles that arose during the installation due to changes to the building layout and the day to day operation of the systems; they were also able to assist BMT Hi-Q Sigma meet the exact security requirements of their clients, requirements that were prerequisites for contract placement.

The Challenge

The client has multiple buildings and each site has various fire and security installations that were being serviced by several different maintenance companies which meant that arranging planned service or remedial maintenance was complicated and arduous.

The Solution

APM offered a “one shop stop” and due to their combined skill set and experience were able to take over the service and maintenance of all of the existing installations so the client now only had one point of contact to deal with.
APM Fire & Security are an extremely professional and friendly team who understood our requirements and take a flexible approach in terms of carrying out work around our staff and residents whilst also managing to save us money on our existing service and maintenance costs.
